IbO Extensions

The 'Incubator' is an extension of IbO specially designed to facilitate the monitoring of the development of ideas by the innovation manager and the innovation council members.

This is an additional way of organizing ideas for management, grouping them by stages and gathering them in one place regardless of their origin.

Innovation involves exploring unknown paths and this carries a risk. This does not mean we should resign ourselves. Risk management allows for a flexible and effective control of the uncertainties associated to any innovation and of the risks they mean. Likewise, lets you document the settlement (positive or negative) and the risk decision.

With +4 Challenges you get four more simultaneous active challenges: four more challenges encouraging people to get involved in focused innovation! Keep on extending innovation in your organization by multiplying projects, ideas and outcomes.

If you are looking for a more extensive innovation, can increase the number of simultaneous active challenges by means of this extension. Can add so many items of this extension as you want. This way you set your own limits and pay only what you're going to use. For example, if you request two items of +4 Challenges you'll have up to 12 simultaneous active challenges (4 already included in Taskforces & Challenges and 8 more from the two items purchased), and so on.

People are a mainstay of the innovation in the company, so the innovation management is also the management of the persons. IbO offers you useful information on the overall people performance as regards the innovation, but: wouldn't it be great to have also the possibility of monitoring each one of the participants?

The extension ‘Individual users monitoring’ lets you know in detail the level of individual performance, commitment and results of each participant in innovation.

Define your own customized user profiles with their particular set of access permissions. Full control over which users can access which section!

Involve as many people as you wish in your company's innovation: your customers, all your suppliers and distributors, the entire staff of the company, and so on. You decide.

Unlimited users is especially recommended if you intend to extend the culture of innovation across your company or want to exploit the huge potential of Open Innovation.

Tasks & Workshops allows you to integrate in the management of IbO the allocation of tasks, calling to workshops and the tracking of both the tasks execution and the attendance.

In addition, you get visual and graphic information on these issues, so that you can intervene when necessary.

To ensure that innovation offers the expected outcome, it's necessary to manage the quality of the innovation process. The extension 'Inducers' allows you to set quality targets for the innovation process. This way you can optimize the performance of IbO and induce better and more focused results.

IbO already includes templates of these inducer targets and its indicators. You only need to set the target and the deadline; IbO will collect the data automatically and provide updated information on the quality of the innovation process.

Multiply the ideas in your organization. With Taskforces & Challenges you will have three ways to obtaining ideas:

1. Taskforces: innovation teams formed to one only purpose, reaching a target by means of focused innovations. With IbO you will be able to manage them, since its setting up to the putting in operation of the innovations.
2. Challenges: launched to the organization and where all the members are invited to contribute. A Challenge is a target that the company wants to achieve with the people support, for which asks them to contribute their ideas.
