Taskforces & Challenges
get a large continuous flow of focused innovations

Multiply the ideas in your organization. With Taskforces & Challenges you will have three ways to obtain ideas:

1. Taskforces: Innovation teams formed for one specific purpose, reaching a target through focused innovations. With IbO you will be able to manage them, from its setting up until putting the innovations into operation.
2. Challenges: That you launch to the organization and encourage all the members to contribute. A Challenge is a target that the company wants to achieve with people support and asks them to contribute their ideas.
3. You can also use the Suggestions Box to capture and manage the ideas spontaneously arising. Easy and very effective.

It includes detailed tracking monitors of each Taskforce and Challenge, as well as of the Suggestions Box. These are constantly updated so you always know their performance and the quantified results that they deliver.

This feature is limited in the free version and allows you to have up to 2 taskforces and 2 challenges active simultaneously, although the total number is unlimited including those inactive or already finished (eg: you can have 10 taskforces and challenges but only 2 simultaneously active of each type). Furthermore, in contrast to the paid versions you cannot increase the number of simultaneous active taskforces and challenges unless you turn your free license into a paid one.

Obviously generating ideas is not enough. It's necessary to manage them properly so that they turn into innovations capable of offering quantifiable profit. IbO includes a stage-gate process to check step-by-step whether each idea:

Furthermore, it has some additional financial advantages: given that your company buys a subscription to the service, this will renew only if suitable returns are obtained. Therefore, investment in innovation management turns into a variable cost.

For the proper functioning of the system you need:

• ♦  The user experience is better with monitor resolution: 1024×768 or higher.

Restrictions in the free version

IbO free is a limited version and can't be expanded with extensions. For example, its number of users is limited to 100 and the amount of simultaneous active Taskforces and Challenges is limited to two respectively, and cannot be expanded.

Nevertheless, you can turn your free license into any of the paid licenses whenever you want. This way you are able to add the features that suit your company better and expand your innovation system to achieve more profitable and focused innovations.
